Ceremony and Reception sites

Hi I'm recently engaged and looking for ceremony and reception site ideas. We live in minneapolis but are planning a central iowa wedding. My friend suggested the Prairie moon winery and on the website it looks like an amazing place. Has anyone had their  wedding there or been to a wedding there and can give me reviews? Thanks!

    Hmm, I don't have any input regarding your winery.  But I will throw in my two cents for ceremony and reception anyway...

    We were married at St. Ambrose Cathedral downtown and had our reception at the Science Center of Iowa.  Fun and funky :)

    Honey Creek Resort at Lake Rathbun - beautiful.  I am getting married lakeside on July 3.  Its about  1 1/2 hr south of Des Moines though.
