Has anyone used Andy Powell from Select Entertainment as their DJ or been to a wedding with Select Entertainment? We are thinking about hiring them but haven't really interviewed anyone else...I would love suggestions!

    i'm an old knottie, current nestie from the dm board randomly looking at things for a friend planning her wedding.

    anyways - i work part time at the hy-vee conference center and i would say that andy is one of the best (if not the best) djs that we have come in and out of there.

    YES! we used "cubby" (Andy Powell) for our May 2008 wedding. Then he was with BC Productions. He was AMAZING. really was. I am now a free-lance wedding planner in Des Moines and I have seen a lot of DJ's. they aren't comparable to Cubby. He acts as the MC and the wedding planner. he made sure everything ran smoothly and that the wedding party knew what was going on at all times. He set up at our wedding ceremony at Water Works Park and then at our reception at Forte downtown. We even had Karoke! he was so great and so organized.
