Shower Venue Ideas DSM area

My MOH lives out of town so I'm helping with planning my shower.. we were originally thinking the tea room in Perry till I heard it closed. So now I'm trying to find another venue that is a inexpensive as possible but still has the same homey feel... I liked the idea of the tea room because I love tea parties and any excuse to dress up! My aunt suggested a B&B so I'm checking into that.... any other suggestions?

    B&B would be a great idea!  I've attended a shower at Jasper Winery in the Barrel Room.  It was beautiful and very fun.

    I think we are doing ours at a friends clubhouse that her homeowners association has for free.  There is a fireplace and it has a little pond.  Just an idea that many apartments have these so you may want to look into those for the cost benefit?

    If anyone from out of town is coming and staying in a hotel, you might check to see if you could use a space at that hotel for the shower.
