So... I just got engaged last week and we're planning a wedding for January 2013!! Crazy?? Maybe.  Excited?? Definitely!!  We've been together for almost 10 years and are moving out of state for my career in February.  I already have a ceremony venue, dress, and photographer-- trying to nail down a reception venue so we can get invites out soon!!

    You can do it :) We just decided at the beginning of October to do January, and it really hasn't been bad at all. The only thing was I had to get a dress off the rack bc there was no time to order one, but even that worked out very well!

    Yay!!  Congrats!  In some ways, I think it's a lot easier to plan a wedding on a shorter timeframe...less time to analyze/compare/change your mind.  :)

    I was suppose to get married in a week from today but due to the wrath of Sandy I am postponing my wedding until 2013  potentially Jan. I have everything except a venue! Any suggestions for 150 guest list Nassau/Suffolk/NYC? thanks!

    Congrats!!!  I agree with PP...def easier to plan in a shorter time frame.  Very exciting times ahead for us, Ladies...!!!  ONLY 2 months!
