Is anyone else anxiously awaiting RSVPs? We have 43 outstanding RSVP cards (including from my brother- who is obviously coming since he is in the wedding!). Our deadline is December 15, and they are only slowly trickling in! I know we purposely made our deadline early but I feel like everyone forgot to respond and I'm starting to get frustrated!
Re: RSVPs
157 invited
118 accept with pleasure
35 decline with regrets
4 are driving me crazy
RSVP Date: December 15th
Plus parents and siblings... they aren't accounted for above.
We have an entire month before the RSVP date is up though, so we'll see. We got a ton the first month and now they've essentially stopped
[QUOTE]Our rsvp by date was yesterday... We've received about one third so far. People dont pay attention, unfortunately. I'm sending a mass Facebook message to the outstanding in a week or so. hoping to get all rsvps one way or another by Christmas !!

</div><div>SAME HERE! RSVP Date was 12/10. We have a lot that haven't come back. By the end of the week, or early next week, I'm just assuming no RSVP = not attending. </div>

<div>I wish I could do that! However, even some of our bridal party and people who have booked hotel rooms have yet to respond! So I guess I can assume those people are coming? I just don't understand why people don't think it's important to respond.... </div>
[QUOTE]I am still missing like at least 50 of the 115 we sent out. my deadline was 12/6.

</div><div>Yeah, I just don't understand this. It's one card they have to fill out with a self-addressed and stamped envelope already there to send it back in. How much easier can I make it? My deadline is the 15th and we're missing about a third as well. </div><div>
</div><div>As much as I would like to just assume the people I don't hear from aren't coming, I know there could be mail problems so it's best to follow up with all the missing RSVPs, as frustrating as it is. Just found out a friend never got his invite when he asked a mutual friend if we had sent them, because he got the STD and not an invite and thought it was weird. Thing is, I haven't gotten his invite back from USPS indicating there was a problem, so his invite is lost in no man's land. Same thing could have happened to the RSVPs people did send back. </div><div>

Yeah, I've gotten some invitations returned to be as recently as last week so now I'm just paranoid that people never got the invite. Makes me nervous.
A lot of people just don't know their plans yet either which is frustrating. I mean, work, school, new baby, or moving I understand. anything else and I feel b-listed, like "I'll come to your wedding if I don't have anything better to do."
We usually get one or two a day, sometimes none. I love getting them also, Ksblumb! : )
If they don't all come in by the 30th, I am going to have to contact people- like it or not, we need a full count.
Anyways, that's only about 1/4 of our guestlist missing so I guess it's not terrible compared to some. We will definitely be contacting all of them if we don't hear in the next week though - I've had several invitations returned, just found out today that one had a typo in the house number (but it never got returned - so maybe some random people will show up haha). So I'm worried some people replied and the card got lost, or never got the invitation - that's why we'll follow up.
@Laurbar I know what you mean about the mail. I feel like I'm stalking the mail man. Monday we got 7 cards back. He didn't come at all yesterday (not to our neighbors either so who knows why) and then today there were no RSVPs at all. None in two days worth of mail
