We were in Wyoming working at a ranch for the summer and we went to dinner one night and afterwards we decided to go look at the horses. After the horses Michael asked me if I wanted to go for a little walk. I wasn't too excited being that I had on really bad shoes to go walking around the mountain. But, he talked me into it and we drove the car to the top of the hill and we were at what everyone calls the Mesa. It's pretty much a big, hilly field and all you can see is sky, mountains, and pine trees. It's beautiful. So, we walked up near the top of the Mesa and we sat on some rocks and just took it all in. Michael was being kind of...different, but I didn't really think anything of it. He kept having me look to my right. He was showing me where chuck wagon was on Friday nights, and where picnic on the hill was and then all the sudden he stood up and got down on one knee. After that I don't really know what happened. Mainly because I couldn't see and could barely breathe! I was crying, & smiling, & hitting him...I still don't really know why I was hitting him. So we hugged and kissed and did a little more of both, & then went back to the ranch to get our things so we could go down to town, (where there was cell phone service), and call our parents. As we were driving down the mountain I realized that I had never answered Michael. I said this to him & he said, "Yeah, I know." So THEN, I said YES!! A little delayed but I think he got the idea up on the Mesa!

It was our 3 year datting anniversary. We went out to dinner @ Maynards in Rogers and then to the movie theater and saw No Strings Attatched. It was January and freezing and to top it off I was sick. So after the movie he tells me to call the Graves downtown to see if they have underground parking, so I look at him like are you for real?!?! So we get there and its amazing wonderful view (I could see Target field) then hes like I have to go to the bathroom.Comes out and goes in honor of us ebing together for three years will you marry me? I cried and hes like ok whats your answer? I said of course and I love you

Proposal story? He told me we were meeting some people out for dinner and he was making reservations, and that I should dress up. He wouldn't tell me who we were meeting though. That day I drove over to his place and picked him up since the restaurant was on his side of town. I still didn't know what restaurant. He gave me directions and eventually we pulled up to the Saint Paul Grill, which was where we had our first date. We got to our table and there were a dozen roses and a memory/scrapbook waiting there. He put away the book and we had dinner. After dinner he took me  through the book page by page and we reminisced about our first years of dating (he had saved ticket stubs, plane tickets, you name it) and then he proposed in the restaurant.  So obviously meeting people was a ruse, and I pretty much suspected it as soon as he told me to dress up to impress these people. He never cares about anything like that.

Proposal Story? We went to Taylor's Falls for our one year anniversary-the same place he had "Officially" asked me to be his girlfiend. I had found my ring in a dresser drawer the week before so I was extremely nervous but trying not to get my hopes up. Chad acted like a nervous wreck the entire time-we had stopped in Stillwater to go to the little shops for a while and he wouldn't stop pacing. So we ended up heading to Taylor's Falls and were sitting on a rock when he started with "So...there's something I wanted to ask you...Would you be willing to spend the rest of your life with me??" Apparently I didn't even give him an answer-just stuck my hand out and he put the ring on. It was sweet. As soon as we got home (We had taken the motorcycle out) He called his mom to let her know he hadn't dropped the ring in the water like he feared!! haha

Proposal story? Nothing super exciting, but we were laying in bed on sunday morning after waking up and just talking. The best part? He let me pick out my ring! Diamond and all!

Sweet & simple, we first started dating 18 years ago but we were young and dumb then.  Got together again 5 years ago and never looked back.  I knew it was coming, he wanted to make sure he had the 'right' ring before he asked so he took me with him. A month later hegot down on one knee, said all the right things, told me he waited 18 years to make me his wife and his patience has run thin.  He got down on one knee and asked me and my children if we would have him for the rest of our lives.  Of course I said yes and than asked if we could go to Vegas!

Wedding date?  Sept/Oct 2013 depending on venue

Any vendors booked yet?  No... a little overwhelmed!

There is a way to search at the very bottom of the page.  There is a search boards section.  Just put in whatever you want to search, then go to the drop down & select Current Board.  (It will look like current board is already selected, but unless you go in & select it, it will search all boards).  Select GO & you're off!  = )

We had planned to spend the day in Stillwater shopping, then go to a B&B for the night. We stopped at Brine's to pick up sandwiches for a picnic lunch but by 10:30 he was getting antsy! We went to Pioneer Park overlooking the river and the bridge when he took me in his arms and asked if I would marry him! We had gone out ring shopping a few weeks before where I had picked out my ring but I thought we had the understanding that it wouldn't be happening for a few months so when he asked me, I said "that's my ring!" and hit him before saying of course!

We are planning a vow renewal (so kind of like a 2nd wedding) and we also have children, mine are 2 and 3 & 1/2

We were at our cabin, like most weekends.  He proposed in the boat on the water - one of our favorite places to be, with our two dogs in tow.  It was perfect for us!

My name is Raquel, my fi name is phillip We have been engaged since we were 19 (4 years now) my proposal was very funny and special. My fi at the time was a big gamer (played video games all the time) one day he decided that I was the one and wanted to propose, he didn't have any money at the time so he took his game system to the pawn shop sold it and bought me a cute little diamond ring! Afterwards he came to my house got down on bended knee and purposed! It seems childish but at the time next to me his ps3 was his prize possession. Now 2 kids later and a unnecessary surprise with a new ER we are finally planning our wedding! Wedding date is July 28th 2012 Vendors: I have booked my venue and photographer!! Super excited Questions: none that I can really think of but I'll e sure to ask I I need help, I ll be sure to ask!!

Proposal: It was his last day before leaving for the rest of his training for deployment ( He is in the Army currently deployed to Kuwait), He took me to the water carnvival in town and was a good sport about going on rides(even though he nearly got sick!). He then suggested we go for a walk. We were walking and he was singing to me as usual, and he asked me if this spot looked familiar. I told him of course, it was where we took our first walk. We sat by the water and he got on one knee, said some beautiful things and asked if I would spend the rest of my life with him. After that its a blur, I may have cried and laughed, then said YES! We called family on our way back to his training base in WI.
