Wedding Shower ideas?

My FI's cousin is getting married in March so FI's mom is throwing her a shower next week.  My task is to come up with a game/activity to do.  The other activities they are doing are a game where you ask everyone a questions about the bride/groom and the person who gets the most wins and then some type of word came with their names.  They know for sure they don't want to play the toliet dress game or anything like that. What are some other activites we can do?  I've only been to 1 shower now that I think about it so I need some help!

We had a couple's shower and my family, completely unknown to us, put together a "shotgun wedding" skit, complete with my uncle in drag as the pregnant bride, my brother as the shotgun-toting father, and toilet-paper collared preacher (who officiated with a first aid book from 1949).  It was a riot and people still talk about it.  Did I mention my mom's family is Kentuck?

Maybe some of the guests could get together beforehand and come up with a little funny skit or something like that to do for entertainment.  Be sure to record it if you do!

We did one where we had to guess what was in the bride's purse.
She and I are both "everything and the kitchen sink" people with our purses, so that one was a blast!

I played a game once where there was a CD mixed where "Love" was in the title or prominent in the chorus of the song. Each song was played until the title or chorus came up and then the organizer stopped the song and each player had to write down the title of the song.

I can't remember most of them, but examples would be:
"Love, Love, Love" by the Beatles
As Long as you Love Me by the Backstreet Boys

It was a ton of fun--especially for some of the songs where you only get about 3 seconds before the word love comes up! (and this is saying a lot from me--I'm not really a fan of  typical shower games...so I'm having a game night shower where we play board games and drink margaritas instead.  But this "guess the song" game was fun! ).

i guess it's similar to what you mentioned, but my favorite game is when you ask the groom questions before the shower, and the bride has to try to match his answers. if she's wrong, she has to put in a peice of bubble gum. the last shower i saw it at the bride has a good 10 peices in her mouth (out of about 20 questions).
i saw this once where the groom's answers were videotaped- which was funny to watch.

I was at a shower that had a similar video questionaire game, and that was really fun. They also had something else going on where there were balloons blown up with slips of paper inside that either had a question or a task in it. When someone would say a magic word  in conversation (only the hostesses knew the words) and the hostess would catch it....like honeymoon, marriage, naughty, etc. the bride would have to pop a balloon and do whatever was inside of it. Most were questions like "what is your favorite physical traits of your fiance, but a couple were dares like run around the house screaming you were in love. And to make matters more complicated everytime the bride had to pop a balloon, she had to do it a way...sitting on it, using her nails, etc. That was quite hilarious.
