DMV name change question

I haven't been able to get any additional certified copies of my marriage license of course since the state shut down, but I just have a question about the DMV. It seems like they're still open, do they need to actually keep a copy of the marriage license or do I just bring my original to show them? Thanks!

    I believe you have to show your official copy with the raised seal in order to change your name on your license.  You could try calling them to be sure before you waste time in line though.

    I needed a rasied seal original copy. I am curious why you can't get another copy of the ML when they are run by the COUNTY and not the state.

    You just need to show them the original and they make a copy there (they just need to see a seal)
