What do you do when it rains?

Where do people take pics if it starts raining on their wedding day?  My wedding is at the MN zoo, but they don't let us take pics until an hour or so before the wedding starts so I need an additional location to take pics.  All I can think of our outdoor places around the zoo - farm, arboretum, lebanon hills.  What does one do if it rains???

Sincerely,
someone who worries too much for her own good.

Arboretum might charge you, just an fyi.

I'll be honest, we didn't have a plan b.  Which was pretty daring, since we got married in November in Minnesota ;)  But, we got freakishly lucky and it was 70 degrees.  That doesn't help answer your question at all though, huh?

Could you take some pictures after the ceremony, before the reception if needed?  Is your ceremony and reception at the zoo?  Do they have any plan B options available?

If you go to the Mill downtown they have spots inside that do not charge and actually the outside there are some parts that have partial covering but are stil somehwat outside. It would be a place to check out. That is one of my moms favorite places to take pictures. Your photographer should have some ideas as well.

It snowed (a lot) on my wedding day -- one week after Steph's haha -- we went with it and did pics outside, they turned out great!

I also had an idea to go to the Guthrie for our first look - out on the endless bridge - but that's all the plan b planning I did...

Have you hired a photographer yet? They might have some great ideas of where you could go too that they have taken pics at that work well.

Go with what you've already planned and make sure everyone has a fabulous umbrella.  They look great in pictures and will give them a sense of humor and color you may not have otherwise.  I'm getting married in April and having photos outdoors in the Walker Sculpture Garden, so I'm giving all the WP colorful umbrellas as a gift, just in case we may need them later.  And who doesn't need an extra umbrella around the house, anyway?

I agree with Cake, we're getting married in April and will be hopefully taking a lot of photos at the Loring Park, we don't really have a plan b except places around the Nicolette Mall area if its really bad. If the weather looks bad the week before I'm going to grab some cute umbrellas for everyone :)

<div>Yeah, I have to disagree.  I was in an outdoor wedding in the rain in June and it was freezing and we had long dresses on!  We had umbrellas, but it was still cold.  What kind of dresses do you have?</div>

My dress is long, the BMs are tea length, I'll guess I'll just have to check the weather the week before.  Thanks for the tips!
