can you make a handkerchief without sewing?

I don't have a sewing machine or much ability to sew...LOL....is it possible to make??

    Probably! You'd have to use a fabric that wouldn't fray too much, and then use pinking shears to cut it in order to prevent any further fraying.

    Another option would be to use seam tape...they have some that is iron-on that you could use to make cleaner edges

    If you were on the east side I'd say just bring it over to our place, it wouldn't take long to stitch up the sides.  Or, you could talk to the person doing your alterations about zipping up the edges for probably $5.  Pinking shears are great, OTOH, they're a pain because so many fabrics now will fray out and doesn't really look polished. 

    If you're still wanting a way to do it without sewing and no one around you knows or has a machine...The way to go is to get some Heat & Bond (available at JoAnn's, Hancock Fabrics, or Walmart), fold over 1/8"-1/4" of fabric along the edge, steam it, then fold it over again to the width of the Heat & Bond and press it down.  You'll have a handkerchief without having to do any sewing, OTOH, it won't hold up as well as if you have someone that can just straight-stitch the edges.
