Caterer Suggestions

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on caterers.  Our reception is at James J Hill Library and they have an open caterer policy.  Looking to keep the price per plate reseaonable ($30ish).

We are using Kanes Catering, and they are wonderful!  Jerry is open to doing anything and you dont have to stick to the menu they offer.  Plus they are soooo reasonably priced!

Any preferences regarding food type, etc? I used Brasa (in addition to their two restaurant locations, they also do catering) and loved them... so if you're looking for something a little different, they are a fantastic option. Very affordable, too.

If you're wanting something a bit more traditional-wedding-food-ish, Chow Girls is awesome. You could also probably pull of something at that price point with Mintahoe, although they are generally a bit more expensive (but their customer service is usually pretty top-notch.)

Oh - I hadn't thought of a less traditional caterer...now there will be too many options!!

Trying to stay away from the Mintahoe's and D'Amicos of the world, would rather use someone that doesn't have 200+ weddings a year.

We went with J&K and LOVED them! Their food was so good that we had people getting thirds! They are very reasonable and give wonderful customer service.

Lettuce Cater was highly recommended and they are on the list at the James J Hill Library. We loved them the food and service was exceptional. It was a great recommendation to use them. We were very happy!

I had a tasting at Big 10 catering earlier this week and it was delicious!
