Where within the Twin Cities are you wanting to have it?  That would help narrow down suggestions.

Yes, that would be helpful! Thank you! I am looking for something in Minneapolis or West Metro - Edina, Minntonka area, St. Paul if it is really great! Thanks!

We did Happy Gnome in Saint Paul. You get the whole upstairs with a private bar, and they'll basically do whatever food you want. We wanted casual so we did a burger bar with angus beef, bison, marlin steaks, and veggie burgers. They had all the fixings, potato salad, ect. It was fun but grown up still which was great. Everyone had a great time and the space was perfect.

My favorite restaurant is Biaggi's in Eden Prairie....I have noticed they have a nice private room for those occassions and their menu is amazing.

We had ours at Tavern on France in Edina, across from Southdale. Great food, reasonable price. They do have a $1,000 minimum on Friday/Saturday though if you want to use their back room. If you do decide to have it there, go before and get their Club Card for $20. It will save you 20% off your food bill whenever you go (and $3.50 mugs of beer), including for your RD.

We had ours at The Spaghetti Factory in Minneapolis and had a great experience! The staff was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and it was super cheap compared to everywhere else we looked into!

Forepaughs in St Paul is really cool.  Maybe a little spendy, but it is definitely at VERY unique venue!!

I definitely second Tavern on France in Edina. Also- Tryg's in Minneapolis, Pinstripes in Edina, CRAVE (they have multiple locations).

<div>They do have a minimum, but if I remember correctly, the room rental goes towards the minimum. Also I think the minimum is lower on other days as well. </div>

I think Pittsburgh Blue's private room would be a blast.  Fab martinis and food!

I second Pinstripes!  I think it would especially be a great venue if you have more than about 10 people, and perhaps people from both families who don't know each other. They have fun activities that would allow people to socialize and relax.
