Local pre-marital counseling

We're thinking of doing pre-marital counseling before getting married. Can anyone make recommendations?  We are not religious so are looking for non-religious counseling.

My FI and I recently met with and decided to go with Rev. Frank Nelson. He is a retired minister, but does counseling for all walks of faith or non-faith.

We are also not religious AT ALL, and made very certain to ask him if he was comfortable with that. He said he was and was very open to our beliefs (or lack thereof).

It's free to meet with him, so I would recommend you do that (with anyone you're considering for counseling).

And you liked him?  Are you doing the one on one or group counseling?

We really liked him. We're also having him officiate the wedding, and we're doing the one-on-one.

He also makes wooden pens in his woodshop (?) and they're actually really beautiful - you get one if you hire him. Not that that's a real selling point, but it's kinda cute. :)

It's really casual when you meet with him to see how you feel. Let me know what you think if you do!
