thank you card question

If I receive several combined gifts from a shower (i.e. 4 sisters go on a big gift) do I send each of them an individual card, send one thank you card to one of the sisters thanking them all, or send it to their mother's address to share with them?

I personally would send it to each individual person..

Send a card to each individual person. The only time I'd say otherwise is if they live together (or are minors?)  LIke my mom and my 17 year old sister got me a combined gift, so I sent a note to both of them.

I think it's acceptable for offices too, if you can just post it in the break room.

Otherwise- send separate cards.  It's only a matter of a few dollars in postage, and they'll appreciate it more this way :)

Yep - send individuals.  When in doubt, think of how you'd feel if the situation was reversed.  I'm pretty sure you wouldn't appreciate a thank you being sent to your parents as a nearly married woman!
