Limo/Party Bus Transportation

Where did you book or where are you booking this from for your wedding day?  About how much did you spend for what type of vehicle?  Were you pleased with their services, and any other information you may want to share!  I am going to start the hunt for one soon!

Re: Limo/Party Bus Transportation

  • Thanks for asking this, I am also in the process of searching for either a limo or a limo bus. And the search has been rough. I DO NOT reccomend Boss Limo in Brooklyn park. When we contacted them they had the cheapest price, but not only are their limos pretty old, but they are selling almost all of them on craiglist. :/ So, I am back to square one..
  • We are using Profile Limousine out of St. Cloud (but they service Minneapolis and St. Paul).  http://www.prolimobus.com/
We booked the 30+ passenger bus, 3 hours for $495
I wanted a large enough vehicle to fit everyone in our wedding party + significant others COMFORTABLY and reasonably priced.  Now I see on their website they have a 2-hour option, which I would've done instead of 3 but they didn't offer 2 hour time block when we booked with them.
  • We used Sonic Limos and were very pleased with the service and the vehicle. We paid $600 for 2 hours for the Cadillac Esclade Stretch limo which was WAY more spacious then we needed but super fun!

  • We are using JD Limousine out of Elk River (they service Minneapolis and St. Paul, though).  We are having a stretch H2 that seats 14 for 6 hours and with the manditory gratuity, etc it is $972.  It's $135 for any extra hours.

We are doing pictures ahead of our ceremony at a couple of locations and wanted to provide transportation to our wedding party for that as well as from our ceremony to reception site, so that's why we needed so much time - they didn't have a 6 hour requirement!  :)
  • We are using Renee's Royal Valet Limo services.  They were very helpful when we talked to them.  We went with a 5 hour wedding package for around $600 (this is with the required gratuity included).  The Lincoln Limo that we rented seats 8 people comfortably.  Good luck in your search :)

<div>The have a 2 hour option listed, however if you scroll down it says the minimum is 3 hours. Kinda silly to even post a 2 hour option, heh.</div>
  • I'm using Eclipse Transportation.  Renting a 26-passenger executive coach.  $600 total for 2 hrs includes gratuity.  I really liked this size coach and it was exactly what we were looking for at the ballpark price.   So far the company has been great to work with and quick-responding to my questions.

  • we used Urban Express (see link and more info in my bio).
It's more of a short bus and holds up to 20 people.  The seats inside form U so that everyone is sitting facing the middle.  It has an on bus cooler, and you can hook up your ipod to their music system. We also stopped twice on the way to the reception-at the Trolley and rose gardens off of Lake Harriet.

it was $175 for 2 hours of service.  We used them for transportation of our entire wedding party+dates from the ceremony to the reception.  while the outside isn't the prettiest, we didn't really care what it looked like as long as it got all of us from point A to point B, that it could hold all 18 of us, that it didn't cost an arm and a leg, and that we could drink on it.

It by far was one of the best parts of the day!!  It was worth every penny and we all had a blast on it. I would highly recommend them!

  • I saw an episode on ForeverTV stating that if you're a VIB card holder, you can get a special price through GaminRide.  You're supposed to call for the special offer. They're out of Chanhassen.   Wish I had more details for you!
