Photographer Help

I was wondering if anyone was hiring a photographer for their time and not like a package deal. What I mean is, I want a photographer that I can pay for her/his time and service but I'll develop the photos on my own through like snapfish or something. I did this for my engagment pics but my photog has since moved away. :( She did the shoot, photoshopping and put them on a disc for only $125. I'd happily pay more than that for my event but was wondering if anyone knew of photographers that were willing to do this?

Our photographer, Lisa Rice, gave us full-res DVD.  I highly recommend her and love the photos she took.  I can't stop saying good things about her.

I know there are some photographers who would only give juuust enough resolution to be blown up to 5x7, which I think is a rip off.  That makes people buy prints larger than 5x7 ONLY through them.  Be sure to ask how "high" the hi-res is!

  • We are using John Yao with Noah Joy photography. He is a super great guy that has been very flexible for us and easy to work with. He's got tons of options on his site. Www.noahjoyphoto.com Good luck!

  • Portraits by Carmen.  I know she has package deals but she gives you the pictures on a disc so you can print them!
