Rehersal Dinners in St. Paul

We've been looking for rehearsal dinner venues in St. Paul.  Our first choice is The Happy Gnome, but we are currently waiting to hear if they are booked, which is a high possibility.  We have also looked at Dixie's on Grand and The Bonfire but their rooms do not accommodate enough people.  I need more suggestions, we need a private room for about 60 people.  We want to keep it as close to the Cathedral as possible.  Thanks for the help.

The Downtowner is in that area, pretty close to Cosetta's.  I would recommend Cosetta's but they don't have private rooms.  Also, if you really want to go high class you could do Forepaugh's right off Irvine Park.

I don't know how large the room is, but I have heard of people having their Rehersal Dinners at the Lexington (on Grand).

    Good luck!

I think Sweeny's has a private room you can book, and it is pretty close to the Happy Gnome.

We've had family parties at The Cherokee Tavern in West St. Paul.  It's not super far from The Cathedarl and the owners are super nice.

    Other ideas:
    The Lexington
    Wabasha Street Caves
    St. Paul Hotel
    Crowne Plaza
    Downtowner

We had ours at Buca on W. 7th and had a private room for around 75 people. Food was great, atmosphere was fun and the staff was very accomodating. Highly reccomend!
