CCHHHEECCCCKKKKS!

I never would have thought I would have gotten so many Checks done over the Long wknd. But I did.

Checks Include
- Met with Stationery Ppl to outline our Invites and see if they can do it w/in our Budget. (Quote to be delivered by Fri)
- Finalized Ceremony Music
- Picked the Food we are going to Taste Test (super easy as we picked all the options in our Budget but 2 or 3 hehe)
-Ordered our Lanterns for Reception Decorations- And they came already! !
-Ordered Purple Lights for the Lanterns.
-Booked my Hair and Make Up trial for Oct.

Anyone else tackle Checks lately?

Yay for checks! You had a super productive weekend! Doesn't it feel great to get stuff done?

yes it does. I don't know why but the Ceremony Music was bugging me! Although since we are having a 4 String Quartet we had less options which was very nice.

    Good for you!

We had our engagement pictures taken on Saturday at the Landscape Arboretum, so now that's done and we can create our STDs in a couple weeks once we get the edited pictures.

We also finalized our music for the ceremony last week, and will do the reception DJ contract at our meeting next week.

I also bought my bridal underthing yesterday, so I can start trying on dresses this week.

    Awesome :)
I only managed to get 1 thing done....we picked out the damask fabric to make 25 table centers/mats (for under the centerpieces), table runners, and ring pillow.  My FMIL did surprise me with a hand-stitched dress label with our names and wedding date, can't wait to have it sewn in!  Now patiently waiting to have our photography contract (re-written) sent to us so we can schedule our e pics!

Congrats!  I'd totally love to see pictures of those lanterns!  And who are you using for your string quartet?

Wow--congrats!  My wedding is also in May and I haven't gotten anything done in the last several weeks!  I am dressing shopping today and meeting with a florist tomorrow.  I am still working on big things--have not had time to focus on details yet, but sounds like you are doing a great job!

Enchanted we are using the St. Cloud 4 String Quartet --as the Ceremony and Reception will be in St. Cloud. It's 4 Ladies that do it PT and they still charge $600 for 2 hrs. (30 Mins while ppl are being sat- 1 hr for the ceremony and - 30 mins while ppl are leaving) Its High IMO but they are only option we had and FI and I both really wanted it. I am spending $50 more for the DJ all night LoL -- I don't have pictures of the laterns but here is where I bought them from ...
