bridesmaid gifts?

Hello:)

I'm thinking about bridesmaid gifts and want to make sure I'm in a good price range.  Would you be willing to share approximately how much you spent per each bridesmaid's gift?

I am sure there is a range...but I at least want to make sure I'm in it!

Thanks!

FI and I stayed around the $50 per BM/GM mark.  I'll be interested to see what others say....

We'll probably stay around $50/piece (including the $30 necklaces that the girls picked out.)

Unless we plan a big get-together before the wedding for the WP; we'd love to take everyone to a Gopher hockey game :)

$50 per GM/BM was also my target -- however since all BM are OOT we are paying for hotel rooms & their hair/makeup, so I didn't count that as their "gift."

I guess I haven't even figured out how much we are spending, I just buy stuff when I think of it. I'm almost done with the shopping and this is what I have so far:

    Coach Wristlet- $37
Things to fill it with (oil blotting sheets, lip gloss, other essentials)- undetermined
Flip flops for the reception- $9.50
    Earrings- $8
Tank top with their "role"- $5
Then I'm getting them each something non wedding related that suits them personally- $20-30

So it's about $100 each girl but I wouldn't really include most of them since they are things I want the girls to wear/have for the wedding day.

WOWZA!  I have 7 lovely lades in my bridal party.  We are spending about $35 each.  I know if I had less I'd spend more on each of them. I am getting my maid and matron of honor something extra but am not sure yet.  They have great deals at ulta on gift bags that I was thinking of picking up!  I am not sure yet!

The gift I bought them is about $50.

My four local girls are throwing me a shower and bachelorette party, and I'm spending around $50 for the shower thank-you gift and $35 for the party thank-you gift, each.

My future sister-in-law and cousin-in-law are also throwing me a shower in Wisconsin, and I'm spending around $65 on a thank-you gift for them.

    Hmmm....let's see.

Insulated lunch tote with initials embroidered (this was the "bag") - $23
    Pashmina shawl - $5
Cute make-up bag with day-of things (bobbypins, sewing kit, etc) - $10
    Other day-of things (water,snack, gum, etc) - $5
    Isotoner slippers - $12

    So about $55 each.

My BM gifts are a massage on the weekend of the bachelorette party and then mani/pedis before the wedding. The massages are about $65/ea. (so for my 3 BMS = $195) and the mani/pedis are $65/ea. (another $195). So, I'm spending about $130 on my BMs.

I'm thinking about getting my SIL (my brother's wife) something extra special, like a cute necklace from Tiffany. She has gone above and beyond for planning my bachelorette party and she's always the one who sticks up for me against some crazy ideas others have thrown out!
