VistaPrint screwed up

So FI just called to tell me we got our Save-the-date envelopes from VistaPrint, and there's a white streak on the right side on the back of every single one, due to their printing not being centered or something.

We uploaded our own design (photoshop) and I checked with a VistaPrint rep to verify that it would print well and that everything was good to go. They said it was, of course.

We wanted to send out the STDs next Monday after working our butts off and getting them all ready this weekend. Now I'm wondering if we should just go with it or try to get VistaPrint to fix the error. Has anyone worked with them to fix a similar problem?

If you want to see what the envelopes should look like to help me figure out if a white streak on the right side (of the back) is worth complaining over, they're on my bio under the "Paper Trails" tab (scroll to the bottom of the page).

    Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm in Portland until Friday, so I haven't even seen them in person yet. FI just called and told me about it ...

    If it were me, I'd call them and see what they can do...I would think they would be able to fix it pretty quickly and rush ship it for free, since it was their error.  But I'm a perfectionist so that line, no matter how small, would drive me crazy.

    I'm sorry that happened, that totally stinks and I'm sure you are so excited to get those out too (your STD's are fabulous by the way!!)...but I would call to see if they are able to get you new ones in the next week or so and go from there.  GL!

    I had to work with them on invites we ordered. We got someone else's order mix in with ours so we got there invite/advertisement and our reception and response card. I called them last Friday and they were very helpful and I even asked if they could send them faster and they did at no charges. I would give them a call and let them know and see what they are willing to do for you.

    Yeah just give them a call and see what they can do.  It's their printer's problem, nothing to do with the design you uploaded or the proof you approved online.  I hope you can get it taken care of!

    Half of our save the dates were much darker than the others and some of the white writing looked more yellow. I emailed them and they got back to me quickly and emailed me another 100 at no cost and they only took a few days to get to me. They handled the situation very well :)

    Thanks so much, everyone! I'm glad to know their customer service is good and they readily fix any mix-ups.

    Good luck!  My only complaint with VistaPrint was that our front image was quite blurry.... I knew I was pushing my luck with the image quality, though, so it's not totally their fault.

    Let us know how it turns out after you talk to them!

    Yea I have heard their customer service is great so I would def give them a call and ask them to fix it.
