Landmark Center

Has anyone had their ceremony &/or reception at the Landmark Center in St Paul? I don't know what to do for decorations and want some inspiration. Thanks!

We had our ceremony and reception at th Landmark Center last October - I absolutely loved it! The building is so beautiful already, that you can really get away with anything! We chose a color scheme of ivory, gold and brown. For decor, we did ceiling draping through the first and second floors over the atrium, to bring the space in a bit and make it more intimate. We also did a backdrop with amber uplighting behind the stage that our ceremony and head table was on. We did ivory chair covers to keep everything appealing to the eye throughout the room (as the burgandy chairs weren't fitting with our colors. For table tops, we did gold chargers and lots of candles. We did a mixture of tall and short centerpieces. The shorts were square/rectangular vases and the talls were 24" tall pilsner vases. We did floral arrangements in them all - cream roses with gold glitter on the leaves, plus a stem of orchics in the water of the pilsner vases. If you want to look at some pictures - we are "Angie and Joe" in the 2008 (3) album on Barclay's website: www.barclayhorner.com. Or if you have any other questions, feel free to email me at angeladove01@hotmail.com. Good luck with your planning - you'll love the Landmark Center!
