1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? My Birthday hahah I know I know its not a holiday.  But I also love other people's birthdays!  I just love that everyone gets one special day all to themselves and I really like to try and make it special for those around me.  FI makes fun of me when we go out to eat and someone gets happy birthday sung to them because It makes me happy (seriously).

In all honesty I am not a huge fan of the holidays.  I am such a grinch about Christmas and thanksgiving is soso and other then that I think all of the other holidays are a little pointless.

2. What is the weather like right now? Today beautiful

3. What's your favorite part about summer? The beach!  I love the beach!  I was at the beach yesterday and was so sad when I had to leave

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? So in college I lived in the dorm but we had a suite- so two rooms connected by a bathroom.  It was my sophmore year and my suitemate was a freshman.. Anyway I went out one night and drank WAY too much  and my guy friend walked me back to my room and put me to bed (I remember all of that) Well then a few hours later I am being woken up by my roommate.  Apparently at some point after getting into my own bed I ended up in my freshman suitemate's bed.  She went to get my roomie to wake me up  because she was afraid to since we didnt know one another that well!  I guess I went to the bathroom or something and wandered into the wrong room!

1. Favorite holiday is Christmas because it's probably the one time my family is ALL together at the same time. We all have fun making a traditional Danish meal on Christmas Eve and sleep in on Christmas Day...

2. Weather here is windy and hot! It was windy, hot and humid yesterday so it's a little better but not the best for hair!

3. My favorite part about summer is being able to be outside and working with my garden. It's my first garden -- I'm starting small with herbs but next year I hope to add some vegetables!

4. I can't recall any dumb or stupid things I've done when drunk because I don't remember anything when I'm drunk... but I'm sure if you ask any of my friends or FI, they'd have a laundry list of blunders I've committed. Ha!

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Christmas, b/c I always spend it with my grandmother and all of my cousins and aunts & uncles on my mom's side of the family, and I'm very close to all of them.

2. What is the weather like right now? Miserable. Pouring rain and about 50F. I think the crappy England weather is making it even harder for me to realize my wedding is next month b/c it feels more like March than June.

3. What's your favorite part about summer? Not having to bundle up outside.

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? Hmm... luckily I don't really remember the stupid things I do lol. I think my FI is a funnier drunk than I am. If I get drunk, I am more likely to try to jump my FI's bones than do anything very funny. But I guess that could be considered funny.

1. Fav holiday is Halloween and New Years! I love dressing up and going out! Halloween is the one holiday wehre it's acceptable to dress slutty, lol. New Years ia always fun and people are always happy and who doens't love champagne?

2. It's a little overcast, but supposed to be sunny later. Going to be about 80 degrees today!

3. Fav. part about the summer is the beach and getting a tan! Also love the Del Mar horse races, the fair, going to the river and being outside!

4. Hmm, there's a bunch of stories to choose from. One is at a house party in college I walked across a piece of plywood (everyone called it "the plank") that was set across the pool and took my top off(kept my bra on), lol. I'm also in the background of a girls gone wild video that was being shot at a club that was hosted by some frat (I have mty clothes on! and we didn't know girls gone wild was fliming there) Oh and I met my ex at lake Havasu over spring break when I  drunky pants, that was the stupidest thing I did drunk. Wasted  5 years with him!

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Christmas. I love the cozy and warm atmosphere (despite the winter!) and I love having family and friends over with lovely Christmas music and movies playing in the background. It's just magical

2. What is the weather like right now? hot and humid. I'm in Texas!

3. What's your favorite part about summer? laying out by the pool and relaxing. Or going to the river with the FI and friends. Just those relaxing days. Though I haven't really seen them yet this summer lol

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk?  Oh gosh. My 22nd birthday I was at a piano bar and they had all the birthday people go on stage and do the hokey pokey. They made us do some silly obscene gesture, which would have been funny except I was really drunk and ended up enhancing the obscene gesture, all in all going a little to far with it. Everyone else thought it was pretty funny, but I was so embarrassed!

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? I like Christmas and New Years etc. because of the mood and spirit everyone is always in, and all the family time. My second favorite is probably the fourth of july. I love the summer, and fireworks, and the family tradition of spending it on the beach with KFC and some extended family. 

2. What is the weather like right now? Hot. Humid. pretty cloudy.  and the rain keeps being delayed, and our AC is not working great. 

3. What's your favorite part about summer? The beach. and being tan. and ice cream.  and being outside more often. 

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? Oh my. Theres a few great pictures out there. 

I think the worst is when my friends and i decided a jello pool would be a good idea for my 20th birthday. Wrong. FI fell in it, got my new shirt stained with red jello, and i was so mad at him i broke the pimp cup i just got when I slammed it on the table.

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? 4th of July, hands down. Every year we go to an island called Star Island (it even has it's own lake in the middle!) on a boat and there are so many people there on their boats. We drink, swim, play games, cook, eat with everybody. This year we're going to have several friends staying with us too, can't wait! Here's a glimpse of the island



2. What is the weather like right now? Blah, it's 63 and windy. It was 90 on Saturday!

3. What's your favorite part about summer? Being on the lake, the warm weather, having BBQs, camping,  and most importantly: s'mores!

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? Well, I'm probably going to get judged for this, but hey, I was 19, ok? A group of friends and I wanted to drink more after being at a party, but we had no place to go. So we decided we'd just hit the graveyard and party there. We stayed there almost all night, my FI (boyfriend then) had some nice conversations with people who were buried and was nice enough to share some of his beer. That was the night I got so wasted, I was falling all over the place and couldn't even open the front door when we went back home. I was supposed to drive FI to the airport at 4 am. Let's just say I didn't make it.

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Thanksgiving. Because I LOVE the food, I love football, and it's not all about presents. 

2. What is the weather like right now? Sunny and hot, at least for us. Low 80s.

3. What's your favorite part about summer? Shorts, dresses, flip flops, getting a tan. 

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? This past Saturday we did a limo wine tour for a friend's birthday. I jumped up on a picnic table, did something (can't remember), then fell off of it straight on my butt (while wearing a dress). I got right back up though, and only have 2 bruises to show for it!

1. Favorite holiday:  I think I'll say Thanksgiving because I love Thanksgiving with my family, but I do hate the traveling involved.

2. Weather: Based on what I can see from my window, it's overcast. I have no idea if it's warm or cold, but I think it's warm.

3. Favorite part of summer: Not having to bundle up to go outside, definitely!

4. Dumbest thing I've done while drunk: I met my then-boyfriend halfway between our colleges at a random hotel along I-95, somewhere in CT. We had this whole elaborate sexy meetup planned. Well, he was late (stuck in traffic) so I proceeded to get blackout drunk. By the time he got there, I was in my lingerie, waiting for him, but totally plastered. When I tried to jump him, I fell out of bed directly on my face (so drunk that I didn't even try to brace myself with my hands). Fell DIRECTLY on my nose and then skidded across the rug. I had a rug burn on my face for a few weeks.

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? I have always loved Christmas. My family has a huge family reunion every Christmas, plus my family has lots of fun traditions (opening one present the night before Christmas, a big brunch Christmas morning, then the reunion Christmas afternoon). I am excited/nervous about merging our traditions with those of my fiance's family!

2. What is the weather like right now? It was really humid and hot and sunny, but storms are coming in right now.

3. What's your favorite part about summer? Everyone just seems happier in the summer.

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk?  Oh god. Not even sure where I should start here.  hahaha. Fiance and I were massive party animals in college. We managed to start calming each other down once we got more serious and less like a drunkpants hookup couple when we were seniors in college.
Not sure if I should mention the time I got caught by a friend's mother in an um uncompromising situation at a high school house party behind a hot tub with an ex-hookup. That got me quite the horrible reputation for awhile. That was actually just bad/awful/embarassing, it's still so bad that it's hard for me to laugh about!!

Actually, one time, fiance and I drunkenly left a house party in college to head back to my apartment. We cut through this elementary school parking like we did all the time. Police ran at us with flashlights and screaming at us. Fiance and I both panicked and ran away. I got caught immediately and was handcuffed, body searched, and questioned. Fiance got caught but he had lose a shoe. Same thing happened to him. Both of us were blackout drunk and had no idea what was happening. Turns out someone had robbed the school and they assumed it was us. My fiance had a bar of soap in his pocket and they accused him of dealing drugs and didn't understand why he had soap in his pocket. The whole thing became laughable once they realized we were just drunk college kids trying to walk home....but I had to disclose it on my bar application before I took the bar exam, because it's part of my college records. wah-wah.

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why?
Christmas, for sure! I love the food, the baking, being around family and friends I don't see as often as I'd like, and I LOVE giving people gifts. I usually start shopping for/making gifts in October because I get so excited

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk?

I have too many stories haha (not from recently, but from my high school/college days).

One night I went out with my girlfriends and I foolishly wore high heels (I never wear heels). I drank a bit too much, and after the bar we decided to go over to the hot dog vendor to buy a disgusting (but delicious) after bar meal. On the way across the road I tripped and twisted my ankle, and started to cry. I sat on the curb crying for a few minutes while my roommate tried to find us a ride, because I didn't know if I could walk on my ankle. When she got off the phone, I turned to her and said, still crying: "I just... *sniff* wanted... *whimper* a... hot dog!"

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Christmas for sure! It's my moms fav because it reminders her of her mother so it's just always been a fave of mine. My mom always makes it super special and all about family It just makes me feel good inside.

2. What is the weather like right now? pretty nice considering this week we had tornados near by, severe thrunder stormes, hail and +75 km winds.. :S

3. What's your favorite part about summer? seeing friends, going to the beach and the general relaxed feeling... oh and SUNSHINE!

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? oh god too many to choose from! Um... when i realized i loved FI I could tell he wasn't ready to say it yet so i held off. So for about a month it almost kept slipping out. Then at a house party @ friends of ours i got D-runk and so FI and my Bestie were putting me to bed ... @ 11:30pm and i start saying 'je t'aime, je t'aime' (for those who dont speak french that means i love you... and side note i do not actually speak french either lol). Well here I thought the worst of it was that i said 'je t'aime' ... oh no the next day Bestie tells me i also said 'i love you' maaany times and i thought he didnt say it back so the next couple weeks were AWKWARD... we wind up both saying it a couple weeks later BUT I find out 6 months later that he actaully did say it back that night (pretty much all of our 'big moments' involved one of us being an dolt lol)

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? - Christmas.  My family always helped make it so magical and special for me, so I plan on doing the same for my family/children.  Also, presents, food, and Christmas lights!!

2. What is the weather like right now? - It was nice today but now the storm clouds are rolling in

3. What's your favorite part about summer? - More hours of daylight!  The beach!!!  (Although I much prefer the beach in the early fall when it's so much more empty)

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Halloween.  Because it's fun to dress up and see al the kids.  I get right into and my neighbors think I'm nuts.

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Christmas! I love everything about it, the baking, the presents, family, the smells and everyone in a generally nicer mood.

2. What is the weather like right now? It's 70 and rainy/humid

3. What's your favorite part about summer? Sandals, no pants, laying out, BBQ's.. pretty much everything!

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? Haha I could also be here for days. I tend to get pretty wild when drunk. Most recently I went golfing with FI and FFIL (my first time in a year). We started off with a couple of drinks (FI was buying them). The first 9 holes went pretty well but what I didn't realize that FI was buying doubles and that I had also drank his. Well we stopped for lunch and FFIL went home to take care of something, so we waited at the bar for him. Bad idea. I ended up getting completely smashed and convinced FI to meet me in the girls room. Well halfway into it FFIL came back and we got caught by some staff! LOL. I tried to play it off like I was sick and he was helping me :P So then we went back out and played the back 9. Hahaha. I don't really remember much of that besides hitting the ranger with one of my swings and FFIL saying that I tried to hit him with a golf cart! Heh at least he found it funny... I sure felt like an ass the next day. Worst part is that I bought a Groupon for that place that we still need to use but I'm too embarrassed to go back!

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why?  I LOVE the 4th of July...to me it represents family, summer & unity...When I was growing up we always went on my uncle's sail boat & boated our way into downtown to watch the fireworks...one of my best memories that I'll never forget...

2. What is the weather like right now?  It is hot and humid...is summer over yet?? lol  sorry, I hate the Florida heat...it sucks...

3. What's your favorite part about summer?  honestly since living in FL, I hate summer...I get to wear flip flops year round...so I can't say that...BUT I do love my annual family camping weekend...wish I was going this year!

What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk? hmm...lemme think...I honestly don't remember when I am drunk, most of the time so I asked FI...he said one time while we were at my college apartment, we had our friends over to drink and I guess I was laughing hysterically about nothing, fell to the ground & couldn't stand up anymore...I sat there for like 45 minutes laughing...and then I crawled into the bathroom (with help to pee)..and then I was lifted onto my bed because I couldn't get up onto bed (it was a high bed, I almost needed a stool to get up there)...I also remember being a dancing freak...I've been told numerous times I am a fun drunk.

littlemoments- my grandparents used to live in Florida (they've both passed away) and I used to dread visiting them in the summer. I mean honestly it felt like I could actually EAT the air since it was sooooo humid!!!

Florida is awesome during the other seasons though!

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Halloween. I love decorating the house, love getting all dressed up with FI or with the family. Last year I was pregnant with my daughter so I was a pregnant cat LOL. This year I want to go as the cast of Peter Pan! I will be Tiger Lily, FI will be peter pan, Son will be Captain Hook, daughter will be Tinker Bell. 

2. What is the weather like right now?100!!! Its hot hot hot! But I LOVE IT!! Its going to cool down to about 93-95 midweek but kick back up to 100s for the weekend. 

3. What's your favorite part about summer? Its 330am I can go outside in shorts and a tank top and it still be 75! Camping, pool, my birthday, my sons birthday, weekend trips, being outside! 

4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk?When I was 20 my best friend and I went out drinking until the sun came up, we watched the sunrise. We got back to my house and we decided it was time to go to sleep. So we lay down and im like F i got to pee of course right when i lay down. So i get up, walk to the door, reach for the door handle and miss it! Fall backwards and whacked my head really good on the end of my bed. I then said F it. and went back to bed LOL. Stupid!!

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why? Halloween As a kid, my mom always decorated the house (She still does actually), we'd make Halloween cookies together, pick out costumes, watch movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas - it was always a good time and I still love it just as much now. I enjoy the Fourth of July quite a bit as well.

2. What is the weather like right now? Hot, but nice.

3. What's your favorite part about summer? Swimming, the heat, vacations.

Ah I'm sad I missed this fun post yesterday! I had a meeting at the end of the day and now I'm sure no one will be reading my response, but I'll write it for myself...

1. What is your favorite holiday? Why?
Christmas.  I looove giving people presents and start shopping for Christmas gifts in the summer! I enjoy Christmas food and spending time with everyone at this time of year. I look forward to holidays more than normal people and plan for them way ahead of time.  My little brother is STILL at the age of not making time to spend time with us, he'd rather get trashed with his friends, but on holidays I get to spend large amounts of time with him.
2. What is the weather like right now?
It's been nice recently- in the 70s and sunny. Today is cloudy but still 70ish
3. What's your favorite part about summer?
Summer is my favorite season- I'm off from work so that definitely helps! I like the relaxed feel of it and having more time to do my own thing. I always get caught up things like  household projects and organizing my lessons- not exactly fun, but I'm always frustrated during the school year that there isn't enough time. Oh and I love spending more time outdoors!
4. What was the stupidest or funniest thing you did when drunk?
I didn't drink until I was done with my freshman year of college, and seem to have missed doing funny and stupid things. I was scarred by seeing people making fools of themselves while drunk and because of that never really loosen up enough to get to that point.
