trumpet player for wedding ceremony

I really want to walk down the aisle to trumpet voluntaire and I was wondering if anyone knew of some good trumpet players for hire for the wedding?  Also how much are they typically?  I would love not to spend a ton of money....

    You could try contacting OSU School of Music. Their students are excellent and they have trumpet players you can hire.

    We used a trumpet player, an organist, and a cantor/soloist from Fermata. I think it was around $150 for the trumpet player, but we needed the musicians for a longer length of time (Catholic ceremony).

    Do you happen to have the OSU School of Music's contact info?  I know the general number, but is there a specific person you can contact?

    If you call the general # they will direct you to the correct person. I studied at the OSU school of music, and they have a "gig-list". It's basically a list of students who sign up to get emails about gigs. Once you call and describe what you need. They'll send out an email to all of those students. Good luck! I'll be calling them soon for a classical guitarist.
