The Loft at Smith Bros/Alcohol

Hi!! I'm getting married at The Loft next summer.  We're allowed to bring in our own alcohol and I have no idea how to calculate how much we need, etc.  Has anyone had to do this, and if so, what calculations did you use to figure out how mucht to get?  Thank you!

We're getting kegs for the beer.  200 people, we're thinking (still not finalized) 2 kegs.  For wine we're thinking 4 glasses/person (probably overkill).  We're not doing liquor.

The Loft allows kegs? That is awesome!

I should have been more specific...I'm not getting married/having the reception at The Loft, but we're also providing our own alcohol for our reception and that's what we're doing.

i would talk to their caterer zuppa. they would probably have some good formulas for you.

We were told to go to gentiles, i think in grandview, he is really good about giving you the right amount of numbers of alcohol you need, also you could google alcohol calculators for weddings, and they give a good amount.

I would get a few quotes from some local alcohol wholesale places or some party stores.  If they have delt with brides before, many times they have a sheet that has formulas for finding the appropriate quantity.  Also, many places will let you bring back unopened stock.
