Getting shoes dyed

Hi - I want to get my wedding shoes dyed.  I have found many sites that sell the dyeable shoes, but I'm not sure how to go about actually getting them dyed?  My color is "Grape" by Alfred Angelo, it's a purplish.  Any help/places to go??

Thank you! Maggie

I know David's Bridal and Payless do dyeables. However, I am not sure how close to the color you have in mind they offer. You might try calling them or stopping in.

I am not sure what the grape color looks like, but you might try regency from DB. My BM's wore regency colored dresses (pic in bio) if that is anything similar to the grape color for AA.

I got my wedding shoes dyed at DB (they're my something blue). I love how they turned out! :)

I ordered my dyeable shoes through a local bridal store and gave them a fabric swatch I wanted to match.  They also had a nearly endless list of colors to choose from.  Be aware that the shoes themselves (in my case) were $60, but by the time you pay for dying, shipping (to the bridal store), and state/local taxes it ended up being $95.

it sounds strange, but there's a store called easton shoes on henderson road and they mostly carry orthopedic shoes (used to have dance shoes), but they have a bridal section and tons of books to order from...they include free custom dyeing and the lady who does it is awesome!  she can match anything you show her.  i found a pair for $75!!!!  check it out before you go online!
