Staying warm?

So, with this chilly weather we've been having, I'm starting to freak out about my Nov 14th wedding. I am ALWAYS cold. My dress is strapless. It is an indoor wedding @ a church (which I am cold at every Sunday), but I am really worried I'm going to freeze my tush off-during the ceremony, going to the reception, etc. Any ideas? Plz help!!!

I think with all of the excitment you'll be plenty warm.  I'm the same exact way and I was fine!

With all the adrenaline and excitement, you'll forget how cold you are or actually be warm :) A bolero, wrap, or even cape are really fun ideas.  You could ask your seamstress if she can whip up a bolero to match your dress.

My BMs and I all had pashimina shawls for my wedding last weekend, and all of them thanked me for them. They were just enought to take the chill off of our arms.

I am getting married Nov. 14th too!I am actually using a fur coat that was FI's Grandmothers.  However, I was fully ready to have a bolero made (from excess fabric from my dress hem) or buy one to keep me warm. The cute shurg or wrap or stole would look awesome!I'm thinking about buying a vintage cardigan in my wedding colors for the reception in case the room is cold.

Those are some great suggestions for additional attire above:)One suggestion for the ceremony itself, if you choose to wear only your dress without a shawl.  If you are a member of the church you're getting married at and know the wedding coordinator, it would not be outlandish to respectfully ask them to turn the heat up a little for the few hours you will be there.  I work for a church and if you ask nicely, I can't imagine they would have a problem with it.  You can always say you would be willing to add something to the church usage fee to cover the cost of the heating.Peace and good luck!

Thank you for all the suggestions! I will be searching for the things you all suggested (I had no clue what they were called!) And I'll also ask nicely for the heat to be turned up a tad. Thanks again!

I was shopping @ Target yesterday and found an ivory pashmina that has silver sparkles in it! It's ADORABLE! Actually my FI spotted it first. I was almost jumping up and down I was so excited!!! YAY!
