Most Comfortable Wedding Shoes?

Now that I have my dress I am on the great shoe hunt!I am only 5'2" so I definitely need a heel and I want to stay in them all night so they need to be at least a bit comfortable.Any ideas of brands or places I could go to get shoes that are more on the comfortable end?Also, I am trying to match my dress too - PIB under Attire if you want to see it. They do not have to be white as my dress is spun gold...maybe even a purple color would be fun.TIA!

I got mine from zappos.com. They came within a couple days (like 2) I tried them on and they fit perfectly! But I'm sure they have an easy return policy if they didn't. You can sort by color, heel size, and foot size.Good luck in your search.

I've been checking ebay and zappos.com for shoes. Do you have a price range you are looking to stay in? Some of my most comfy heels are from Aldo, Nine West and Steve Madden, they might have some fun purple ones!

Comfortable heels are as elusive as the G.D. holy grail, no?? I'm 5'4" with a 6'4" fiancee so I'm in the same boat as you, Dr D! I bought a pair of Miss Albright shooties recently at Anthropologie. I had never heard of the brand but if their other shoes are anything like the pair I bought they may become my go-to brand. They are ridiculously comfortable!! I wear mid-height heels semi-regularly but I am never comfortable for more than a few hours. These are higher than I would normally wear (3.5 - 4 inches) and I've been able to wear them all day at work. Yesterday I even ran in them (i'll spare you that story.) I love them so much I may actually wear them for the wedding- they are freaking adorable and totally unexpected for "wedding wear." Anyways, I just checked and they aren't on the Anthro website, but they do have a few other pairs of Miss Albright's and they all appear to get good comfort reviews. Something worth looking at, if they are your style. Cole Haan has paired with Nike and they have a line of heels too, though I've never tried a pair on so I can't speak to their actual comfort. that's all I can think of at the moment. good luck!

My sister was a dance instructor and told me to google dancing shoes and look for ones that have suede on the bottom. I'm trying for silver, that way, I can wear them again and again when I go out dancing!

I love Ralph Lauren! They are super comfy and give me another 3 inches or so.  I went online and found the ones I loved (PIB) and then got them for waaay cheaper at other sites. RL get pretty good reviews for comfy-ness too

I've heard Hey Lady is good and they're shoes are adorable! J. Crew has some beautiful shoes, and they are Italian made, so good quality (which = comfy too!).If you go on shopstyle.com you can do a search through all of the major stores and narrow by price, style, color, etc.

I got mine on 6pm.com, and now they're on an even better sale!  I bought Stunning, also Captive.  I think Stunning is a little more comfy because the straps are movable sort of...I'm wearing those, for the price I'm keeping the other ones too:)  High but with padded footbeds and gel pads in heel, I'm posting this everywhere because they're only $6.95 for the brand that makes them!  I can't rave enough about how much I love them.  I'm wearing silver but I love the idea of the blue satin Belle ones (how cute with the hot pink soles!) http://www.6pm.com/promiscuous-shoes-on-sale
