Cost of flowers

Hi everyone,

I am just curious what everyone is planning on spending on flowers?

I have 7 ladies in the bridal party and the cost of flowers is really adding up so am curious!

Thanks,
Lindsay

I have 6 BMs and am spending $500-$550 for everything floral.  This includes bouquets, corsages for important family (no GM bouts, we don't like them!), simple centerpieces, flowers for the cake/cake table/gift table, and all the glassware.  We are getting married outside so only doing some petals for the aisle, no other flowers (its in a garden area of a golf course).  Most of the florists the ladies mention on here all charge wholesale for flowers, it just comes down to finding one with a low hourly rate.  I love my florist, and got great recommendations for her, if you need one!

$550 for 4 bridesmaid bouquets (simple clutch of calla lilies), my bouquet, NO boutonnieres for groomsmen/ushers, corsages for moms/g'mas, bouts for dads.  I am also paying our florist to rent vases, and for her to set up my DIY centerpieces at the reception venue

I paid $850 for my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 9 bouts, 5 corsages, and 15 centerpieces. Of those CPs, 5 were semi-DIY (my florist provided orchids, and I added them to my DIY arrangement), 5 were super-opulent (lots of flowers on the top of rented 3-foot tall ornate candlesticks), and 5 were simpler, lower versions of the tall ones. The flowers were mostly orange roses, antique hydrangeas, asiatic lilies, and mini gerbera daisies.

We used Molly from Petals and Springs and Twigs (cute name, right?) and loved her.  It was so easy.  We spend $600 total for:

    my bouquet (about 25 callas)
    H's bout (calla)
3 BM bouquets (lots of gerbera daisies)
    10 (?) corsages
    14 (?) bouts
    20 CPs
    Altar arrangement

This included delivery and set up, as well as vase rental.  She was about 1/3 the price quote we got from two other florists.

Hmmm... I might have to get quotes from the folks you guys used!  I requested some pretty specific and spendy flowers and will likely make some substitutions and reduce the bouquet sizes to bring the costs down.  My current quote is as follows:

Bridal Bouquet $135 (peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, raspberries and berzillia)
Bridesmaids (x4)@$93/ea (peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangea and berzillia)
Bouttenieres (x9)@$9.50/ea (ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus, berzillia)
Corsages (x5)@$15/ea (orchids, berzillia, berry tips)

Which brings me to about $700 including tax!  Since I'm a college classmate of the florist, I don't think she's charging delivery.
