I went to Wendys and I thought they had great prices. I got my dress there and I love it. I was terrified that buying a dress would cost thousands (after watching "Say Yes to the Dress" so many times!) but I discovered that it didn't have to be that expensive. I had an appt. with Alan Ray but I cancelled it after I found my dress at Wendys. :)

I am assuming you meant Alan Ray. I purchased my dress from Alan Ray. There are reviews in my bio. They carry designer dresses (just like Wendy's Bridal) so the cheapest dress is probably going to be about $1k give or take. You may find a sample gown they are willing to sell for cheaper.

I was also suprised at how affordable dresses were at Wendy's.  I assumed I wouldn't find anything under $1500.  but everything I liked at Wendy's was $600-700.  I suggest looking on their sample rack too.  I got my dress there for $350 and could not be more happy with it!

There is also Elegant Bride in Dublin. That's where I bought my dress. It's in the Kroger shopping center near 161 & Frantz Road. Since you'll be at Wendys, you're super close to EB! Good luck!

Be careful with Wendy's because they cut the tags out so you have no idea who you are trying on. I found dresses cheaper at Alan Ray than at Wendy's, but every store does different sales. I just know I found a BM dress at Alan Ray's for $185 and Wendy's was selling it for $250! So make sure you look around for the best price.  I also went to Alfred Angelo and that is right by Wendy's. They gowns are inexpensive and goregous! Plus all of the BM dresses are under $200!

I know you've already made the trip this weekend but a heads up--Joan's Bridal Couture in Reynoldsburg is great.  It's a local place, the owner (Joan) is the person who helps you, she has many designers available in various sizes, but also has her own line.  Don't worry--she doesn't push hers on you more than the rest.  I felt 100% comfortable with her helping me dress shop.  She is great for suggestions & styling as well.  I ordered my dress from there, and I didn't see many dresses OVER $1000, so she's VERY affordable.  Love her selection & her personality.  She truly gets excited over each girl's wedding!
