Cameron Mitchell Catering

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone has used Cameron Mitchell for their catering. I'm consdering using them and was wondering if they were as good as they seem. I am on a budget and I know they are known for being pricey but I am just curious about them.

I am using them. I haven't really done anything but decide the menu, get the estimate and book them. My original estimate was 4 or 5K more than my current estimate. I changed some hors dourves, changed the topping on the steak option, and decided to buy my own table cloths (they will still set up them for me), and that brought it down. One the hors dourves that I cut was a seafood display that was 1K if I remember correctly. So that was alot by itself. As far as being good....I've been to weddings catered by them before. The food and service was amazing. I think as with most caterers there is always someone that has not had a good experience. I just don't know anyone to have had one with them. They are defiantly pricy though. I emailed all the caterers except one that was allowed at my venue. For very similar menus, the largest difference between estimates was 1k, most were only $500 plus/minus CMC.

Thanks for the response. CMC gave me an estimate of about $8,000. I saw that they charge about $1700 to use glassware, silverware and their linens. I'm thinking about buying my own if I go with them. That is just a ton of money...
