Inexpensive invites?

What price did you pay per invite? I'm a budget savvy bride, so I love hearing about any deals out there! :)

I'm thinking about trying out the Paper Depot in Mnpls.... anyone have experience there?

Lots of us do! I got all of my paper at Paper Depot. They were VERY helpful with the design process and showing us just how to cut and assemble everything. They have a lot of samples to look through which is AWESOME for getting ideas. I got pocketfolds (onyx stardream cardstock) and inserts (opal stardream text and cardstock paper) for about 110 invites. With the adhesives and everything, it came out to like $150 tops (that may be an exaggeration, can't quite remember the price now).

I got mine from Michaels. They are black and white damask and need very little assembly and can be printed from a home printer. You buy them in a 30 pack so the price per invite using a 50% off coupon is $0.66. I really like them and was too scared to go through Paper Depot because of all the cutting and folding and they ended up costing more than Michaels. Pics in Bio.

there are two Joann Fabrics that are closing Roseville & Midway.  I bought my paper and robbins there at great discounts.  I don't have any pics of my invites yet - but the invites cost about 85 cents a piece - including oodles of cardstock and a ribbon for each one.  I need to go back to get more cardstock for my rsvp post cards and hotel insert - when it is all said and done that should be about $1 per invite plus postage

I did my invites with help from Paper Depot.  They were great and I spent far less than my sister did for her single sheet invites at her wedding 5 months before mine.  I spent less than 300 for invites, envelopes, and thank yous for a guest list of 250.

I decided that I didn't want to make my invites, so I met with a local business that made them for me. They are amazing! You tell them what you are looking for and then Jessica makes up 5 different mock-ups in a range of prices. I gave her my budge and she definiately stayed true to it. The business is called Boundless Print Company. I just googled them. They are located out of White Bear Lake. It is a couple that does it as a side job. It cost me $268 for 150 invites not including the envelopes.
