Blog Topics - Need Ideas

I'm considering applying to be a BloggerBee for weddingbee.com. It's a very competitive process and part of the app is to showcase your writing style and voice through 15 or so blog posts. I have been brainstorming topics and would love your help. Ideas? What would you like to read?

  • I remember I liked your post from a long time ago....it was something having to do with I think what you called the big 5 (in Africa). Then you talked about the big 5 vendors or whatever. Maybe blogging about something along those lines might work. It was a good way to learn about vendors in each category when I first started planning. Anyway, I loved that post of yours :)

Right now I'm obsessed with bridal blogs on defining your "wedding style", mostly because I'm finding it really hard to get the vision in my head into words! Having an inspiration board and tons of pictures is of course super helpful, but describing the vision in words is a little more difficult, especially because what is "glamorous" or "romantic" to one person is often different to another. And there actually aren't that many blogs describing wedding styles, just a ton that illustrate them!

I'm also kind of a nerd so I like blog posts with wedding facts- why a certain thing is done a certain way, historical wedding trends, average amounts spent on particular things, ect.
  • thanks so much ladies!

osuchica, i totally forgot about that post. thanks for reminding me.
kelly, you have a billion great ideas.
peach, thank you so much. i should definitely highlight some of my crazy diy projects.
kari, i've been having trouble defining mine too! crazy how hard it is to narrow it down, right?
