Hey!  I know you DIY'ed your wedding makeup & had a post about it, but I can't find it now!

I'm in two weddings next year & wanted to start brushing up on my makeup skills for those events, after my wedding.

Can you list again the products you used & videos you found helpful or link me up to that post??  I would really appreciate it!  = )

TIA!

Of course! I'm very flattered that you want to know what I used!

I watched a lot of youtubes, but the one I found the most helpful was by Kandee Johnson-- here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjChX9RCkL4&playnext=1&list=PL91E8641BD9E1FD4F. If this doesn't work, it is the video for prom or wedding makeup.
I didn't really use the products that she suggested, more the techniques and colors.

I don't really buy into the whole expensive brush thing. I bought some cheap ELF brushes from target and they were great. The best one for eyes has a rounded end to it and is great for the crease. A small fluffy one worked for everything else.

Here are the actual products I used:
    Foundation Primer: Tarte Recreate
    Foundation: Revlon ColorStay oily/combination
    Consealor: Revolon ColorStay
Blush: Rimmel & Maybelline Fit Me in roses and light pinks
Finishing Powder: Tarte Smooth Operator-- Amazonian clay
Eyeshadow Primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Shadow: Ulta shadows-- mostly different shades of pink, purple, grey. MAC pigment powder in Vanilla. I don't remember the exact shades I used from my pallet, but I think that I may have used the Ulta Flirty, Tiara, Peacock, Sterling, Amethyst, Chiant, and maybe Sandstone. It sounds like a lot, but the more colors you use, the more depth you get.

Eyeliner: NYX felt tip pen & Cover Girl in dark brown. Topped with dark shadow for staying power
False Lashes: demis from WalMart-- dont remember brand
    Mascara: NYX Long & Full
Lips: Just Bitten Stain in Desire, Maybelline ShineSational gloss Freshly Sliced
Makeup Setting Spray: Urban Decay All Nighter

I hope that this helps you! The revlon foundation is amazing. I used to get the expensive stuff (mostly Lorac), but this has stayed on better than anything!
