BM dresses

How far in advance did you all order the BM dresses?  Do you know how long they usually take to get in?  I know it all depends on where you order from.  So if you could let me know where you ordered from and how long it took, that would be great :)  I was in a wedding and we ordered them 5 months out from the Wedding Chapel in Crystal and they took forever to get in..about a month before the wedding they finally arrived.

TIA

I know David's Bridal always gives a much longer ETA. When I was in a wedding and got our dresses from there- they told us 3 months, they came in a week later.

I was told to order ours no later than 5 months out as well....we just finally ordered them 6 months out ... I like to plan ahead and not push things to the last minute and I wish my girls would have gotten the order completed sooner....so reading OP makes me nervous! haha

We ordered ours through Mestads. They told us 4-6 months. We ordered them November 10th I believe. I made Halloween the deadline but a BM missed it. Still hoping they make it in time!! :)

I ordered my girls dresses off NetBride..... fantastic prices on tons of different designers.  They are associated with Rush's in Mpls.  Found the dresses on there for $114 and didn't find them for less than $150 in any store.  I think they took about 8-10 wks and they quoted me 12 wks.

My girls are going to Angeliques and they told us 6 months because of how they ship from overseas on a slow boat. We're sticking to this very closely because nobody wants any complications.
I think that 6 mo is a pretty good time frame because even if they do ship earlier than that, some girls may need alterations done and you don't want to cut things too short.

We did the Cash and Carry option at the Wedding Shop and it worked really well.
You order them from the store and then they ship the entire order to your house and you can then disrbuite them to the girls and get alterations else where. They give you a discount for doing this too.

If I remember right, we ordered them in Feb and they came in in June - I think they even arrived a couple weeks early. So about a 4 month turn around.

drdifabio  What is this Cash and Carry you wrote about....Im going through the wedding shoppe for my BM dresses just waiting on 2 more girls to put in there order. But i am interested to know what the Cash and Carry is about and if it may be to late for me to do that. They never offered this to many nor have I heard anything about it. Could you tell me more!?!? Thank so much :)
