Small restaurant weddings

Has anyone been to a small ceremony and reception at a restaurant in the Twin Cities? Thinking of doing it all in one place and am curious to know if anyone's been to one and how it worked out. Also suggestions for which restaurant?
Thanks!

I've never been to one where they had the ceremony there as well, but I have been to a reception at Jax's Cafe in Minneapolis that was very nice. I also have a friend who works at Forepaugh's in St. Paul (a very classy restaurant) and I know they handle weddings there all the time.

I haven't been to one either but the Lexington would be a great small reception site!

We originally thought about doing a restaurant reception, but our guest list was just a bit too big to comfortably fit in that type of space. A few options:

    Spill the Wine
    Nicollet Island Inn
    W.A. Frost
    Forepaugh's
    Jax Cafe
    The Lexington
    Bar La Grassa
    Anniversary

Our rehearsal dinner was at Happy Gnome which would be a great space for a wedding. They have a separate upstairs room with its own bar, bathrooms ect. It feels like you have the place whole to yourself.
