Manicures

It seems like most people get french manicures for their wedding; is anyone doing something different?  My nails are pretty short (I blame the wedding-planning stress!), so a french manicure won't look very nice on me.  Would it look tacky to have my nails a light pink?

    I don't think so. Or you could go w/one of your wedding colors...

    FWIW, i don't like long nails, and I got a french Axxium manicure for my wedding -- it's done w/a gel, lasts longer than polish but not as long as acrylic nails. My nails were pretty short, and I think they looked super nice. Just a thought...

    I'm getting a shellac manicure, (worked better then Axxium for me).  And I'll be doing a light pink/neutral color.  I have an ivory dress, so didn't want a white tip french with that.
