McNamara Alumni Center Ideas

I am getting married at the McNamara Alumni Center on 5/26/12. Has anyone else gotten married there and have any good ideas or tips for me? Vendors, photography spots, decorating ideas, lodging advice, transportation advice, ways to save money... things like that! Thanks!

    Lodging - It is attached via tunnel to the Radisson Hotel
    Photography - Your photographer can go up to the second story and take an overhead shot of dancing, dinner, or a group shot of the guests.

    I would recommend googling images of "MacNamara Alumni Center wedding" for centerpiece and decor ideas!  Undoubtedly, you may find a local photographer who has already done a wedding there and is able to capture the space very well.  I know that a lot of ladies on here are having receptions at the nearby Profile Event Center and that, most recently, Steph, had a lot of cool WP photos around the MAC, so they would probably have a lot of good insight about the surrounding area!

    It is a truly stunning space and you could do a lot of cool and dramatic things with it... it seats a TON of people.  I've been to a few events there (not weddings) and it is pretty nice and D'Amico's food is very good.
