I am working on a mock up of my centerpiece idea and need some ideas on how to make it work. I have a glass hurricane with colored glass gems on the bottom and a candle set in them. Around the top of the hurricane I want to wrap a ribbon. My question is how should I get the ribbion to stick. I don't want to tie a bow. I have thought about double stick tape and some sort of glue, but I am concerned when the glass gets hot from the candle it will let go. Being the hurricane is a clear glass, you can see the tape and glue too. Any ideas?
