I've been on break from school for a couple of weeks and I have been a wedding planning fiend!
My bridesmaids have ordered their dresses - yay! I have a HUGE gripe with Priscilla of Boston in Edina. I walked in with my BMs to order the dresses we had originally picked out, only to have the consultant tell me there were discontinued. She flat out said, "I forgot to call you and tell you." So, we picked out another dress that I sort of liked, but decided to keep looking since we were back at square one. THEN I brought the girls to Flutter in Uptown and they told me that they could still order the dress through Jan. 11th. I was LIVID at PoB for NOT telling me that was an option. Nonetheless, we got the dresses we wanted. Yay!
We started our registry at Bloomingdales, and are going to start out C&B one this weekend and eventually Target.
FI was awesome and booked Palomino for our RD. Can't wait! We LOVE the food, the prices are reasonable, the corkage fee is only $10, and the room is really beautiful. SCORE!
Hired one of our photographer's assistants to shoot our RD.
Bought my headpiece - it's a Maria Elena design that I purchased at PoB in Edina. There's a pic in my bio. It's A-MA-ZING. I'm so excited to wear it for the reception. Yay!
Why does school have to get in the way of the awesomeness of wedding planning? Bah.
