Where to take dance lessons?

FI and I would like to do a few dance lessons for our first song dance.  Where did you go...and did you do it in a classroom setting or alone?  Can you learn a dance to your actual song if you do it individually (or as a couple)?  TIA

We took 4 private lessons from Dancers Studio (info and review in bio).  We spent the first two lessons learning different steps and the last two putting them together to our song.  We were really happy with our instructor, Bonnie, and we received many compliments on our waltz.
