The biggest cost determiner will be what type of flowers you use. Do you have something in mind? Cheaper flowers are daisies and roses. Lilies and orchids are much more expensive, as is anything out of season.
I can send you the proposal my florist gave me to give you an idea if you'd like. Just PM me your email.

Oh, and I highly recommend Deven Nelson for flowers. She is awesome and very reasonable. She will help you figure out what flowers are the best for your budget and the look you are trying to achieve.

I'd say either set a budget first or pick flowers (they are dependent on each other.)

I knew I wanted mostly gerbera daisies with some callas for my boquet.  We met with two people so far needing:

    bride bouquet (callas)
    3 BM bouquets (daisies)
    groom bout (calla)
    3 GM (daisy)
    5 other bouts (daisies/callas)
    10 corsages (moms, gms, etc.)
20 centerpieces (I said I wanted something simple.)
and 1 memorial vase (for family members who have passed)

One rate was $1300, the other was $600.

I can also send you my quotes if you're interested!

BTW... I've heard to spend anywhere from 5%-10% of your budget on flowers.  They weren't that important to me, so we're sticking around 5% if possible!

try really hard to use flowers that are in season and you can stretch your flower budget a long way!!  We're getting TONS of flowers, including floral centerpieces for about 800.  I did a lot of research about flowers that are in season in MN in August and ended up with a lot of really great stuff.

Thanks everyone.  I think we're going to be under 1000.00, but just curious if I'm in the ballpark.
    :)

The florist I am using is Smply Stated Elegance and she came in alot cheaper that other florists that I spoke with.  Plus she has cheap rental vases.  Check out her website at www.simplystatedelegance.com -
