Reception Venue near Stillwater, MN

We are getting married on a yacht on the St. Croix and are looking to host our reception near Stillwater, MN. Any suggestions for a classy reception site?

The Washington County Historic Courthouse, the Stillwater public library, some of the marina's/yacht clubs have spaces for receptions. Also check out The Lake Elmo Inn. Delicious food and a fantastic space for receptions. It's just down county rd 5 from the upper part of Stillwater. We're having our ceremony at the historic courthouse. It's a beautiful building!

Check out the Lowell Inn - they have a new event center and it's very nice.  They have indoor/outdoor area, lounge area and reception/dinner seating.  We looked at them last year and they were one of our top choices before we decided on a small intimate beach wedding instead!

I agree with the Washington County Courthouse. I know you can bring in your own vendors there too so you could save some $$ by doing that.

Wait... are you getting married August 24?  That's what your bio says.  It might be difficult to find something with that short of notice, but I'll second what worrelsj said for location recs.  I'm doing my ceremony and reception at the courthouse, and it's a lovely building.

I am having my reception at Oak Glen Golf Course and I think it is really nice and classy and not too terribly expensive.

We had our 6/9 wedding reception at Water Street Inn in Stillwater and I would highly recommend it! The food was amazing, and Michelle is great to work with!
