Beware If you booked with this vendor for 2010 or 2011 Events

I asked the question a few weeks back if anyone knew about Moment Like This selling her businss.  Well I had a friend of a friend do some reasearch and here is the ad for her selling off her entire inventory.  If she sells I would imagine she won't have product available for her current clients.  Please please book with someone else.  I didn't put 100% down I was holding out with her contact.  I do know there is a company Memory Makers Decor that is putting 50% of what was paid to Monica towards the new items rented.  If you know of anyone else doing this please post so we can help the other brides that are going to get screwed by this business.  There is the link http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bfs/1916758183.html

Although I don't know the deal with Moments Like This. I can say that Corinne at Memory Makers Decor has been nothing but fabulous to work with! She is a small business and eager to work with you. She gave me discount opon discount and even suggested ordering extra chair sashes for a table runner. Instead of renting an actual table runner. Which saved a ton!

Thanks for the update! I wonder if that is really her, and if she will actually have anyone interested in buying her stuff. I am SO dissapointed in myself for booking her, should have known it was too good to be true!

    Edited to remove private enough.

We get it. Moments Like This is closing, and quite a few of you have had issues with her.  On the other hand, there are brides who have had successful weddings using Monica as well.  Take this for what it's worth, but I think this entire conversation has been beaten to the ground more than needed.

Suzie- in the future, please refrain from reviewing a vendor unless you have used him/her/them and have facts to back up your concerns.

On another note, I wonder if you could really make $50,000+ a year by doing a linen business, I'm sure you could, but just thinking out loud that it sounds tempting.  Sure as hell sounds better than my boring insurance job:)
