oka my name is jamie i am 17 bout to be 18 in 11 wks n me n my fioncee wanna get married next year but my parents dnt think he is the right guy for me but i am n luv. They look at his apperience n says he looks like chewbacca or sumthin but i look at his personality n how he treats me. we have been in luv for five yrs but only been together for 6 mths. he is 19 bout to be 20 n july. I luv him soo much. Wut should i do?
A.) Go with my heart.
B.) Listen to my parents.
C.) Jus go with the flow

P.S. Tell  me wut u think plz leave all ur thoughts.

    My thoughts exactly. And if this IS real...the answer is quite obvious. Listen to your parents. You are 17!!!! You have been with your boyfriend for only six months. And if he really looks like Chewbacca, well, then I'm sure you can do better. Good luck!

    You should probably go to college or stay in school if you haven't graduated. Then, if you are still together you could consider it. You are not ready for marriage yet.

It's OK to be in love and continue a relationship with your boyfriend (and hope he grows out of his "Chewbacca" stage), but it's incredibly important to finish school and live out of high school for a little while. Then if you are still together by the end of undergrad and you are both responsible adults who can afford to live on your own and can make responsible decisions, then think about marriage.</div><div>
    </div><div>I understand a little of where you are coming from. My husband and I met when I was 16 and he was 18. We got engaged in college but decided not to get married until we graduated, could afford living completely on our own out of college, had enough money saved for a house down payment, and could afford the wedding of our dreams. We got married last year, and this September we will be celebrating 8 years together. </div><div>
    </div><div>So it can happen, but it sounds like you really need to listen to your head and not your heart, get your education, and spend more time together first before getting married. </div>
