poll: help me pick my shoes!

I ordered a bunch of shoes from Zappos, and I've narrowed it down to 2 pairs. They are the same height, the same color, and both fit perfectly. I slightly prefer the way the first pair looks, but I think the second pair may be easier to walk and dance in since they have a wider heel. I need opinions! Do I go for cuteness or comfort?

I voted for comfort! It's hard to tell without pics of the shoes and the dress, but the second pair is cute too!

I really like the first pair. I decided to get really cute shoes for the ceremony and all and then change into flip flops for the reception after the first dances or go barefoot (I love being barefoot). But I have heard some brides say that you are so busy/nervous/enjoying yourself that you don't even notice the discomfort...

I love the idea of going barefoot, but just want to give you a heads up that the venue may not allow it (it's a liability) and it might not be safe.

As someone who catered hundreds of weddings, I can promise you that every venue floor has seen a lot of broken wine glasses -- and some of those little bitty shards are missed when it's dark and you've got people dancing around. Sorry to be Debbie Downer (literally).

I've gone barefoot at probably 90% of the weddings I've been at, it's just something I do haha, and a lot of other girls do, I wonder if they just don't really watch closely??

I bet no one would notice bare feet under a floor length wedding dress, so you're probably safe. I was thinking about doing heels for the ceremony and changing to flats for the dance, but when I tried on the shoes with my dress I realized that my dress would be dragging when I switched to flats.

While the heel of #2 may be wider, it doesn't necessarily mean they will be more comfortable. I would be more concerned with the strappies around the toes. In looking at that, #1's seem to be more flexible than #2's, in which case I think they would be more comfy. The width of the heel may just make the shoes feel more clunky (to me anyway), and could effect the ease of walking...lighter weight heels are ALWAYS easier for me to walk in than clunkier ones.

Either way, you've narrowed it down to some great choices!!
