Need invite HELP!! (kinda long)

I did post this on the national board as well and have gotten no help so I'm REALLY hoping some local knotties bring me better luck!
As a gift my invites were bought (from Hobby Lobby and are by Studio his and hers) and printed for me by my brother. When I 1st saw them I loved them ! Went and picked up all the printed invites, got home and I can NOT for the life of me figure out how to 'tie' the pre cut, almost 19 inches long and 2 inch wide ribbon the comes with them (not assembled). They came with one example ribbon that was' tied' and I can't figure out how they did it. I tried to find it on the internet with no luck. Oh-and the invite is 5 1/2 inches wide.
Has anyone bought these and figured out how to 'tie' them? Just a note, I can't even make a single knot with the shortness of the ribbon. I'm desperate. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I love Hobby Lobby. I'm not familiar with those invites though and googling didn't help me. Do you think you could post a picture of the example ribbon? That might help us try to figure it out. If you can't is it just tied in a knot or is it more like a bow?

Haven't had luck trying to get a good picture to post. The example looks like a cute little bow but isn't actually 'tied', so FI and I decided to not stress any longer and just add another skinnier piece of different color ribbon and  snot-dot or hot glue them around invite. It actually looks great and no one but my brother will be any wiser!
