11/12: Dx: Congenital Bilateral Absense of the Vas Deferens.
Genetic Testing needed as this is a mutation of Cystic Fibrosis.

    Oh, no!  Did you eat a lot of salt over the weekend?  Drink lots of water!  Twelve days is plenty of time to lose a couple pounds though.  Especially if you avoid salt, sugar and processed carbs.

    I hear ya,  I ate like crazy in the couple of weeks before the wedding.  It was like I was trying not to fit in my dress, amazingly it worked out and it fit.  I agree with PP, drink lots of water in the coming days and avoid the bloating foods!  It will work out, try not to stress any more than you are on it!  Somehow it all ends up working!

    Piggybacking on what PPs have said - up your water, cut the salt and cut way back on processed carbs. I think debbieupper did something similar before her wedding and it worked like a charm. Your body needs some carbs for energy (12 days before your wedding is no time to try Atkins) but if you cut flour-based carbs you'll see results.

    I'm a stress eater too - not to sound too new age, but just take a few deep breaths and focus on your feelings. It's okay to just feel the stress.

    This sounds awful, but I did it last week to shed the few lbs I gained since the wedding for our "rock the dress" shoot.  I would only use this as a last resort if you get a few days out and become desperate.  I did the lemonade cleanse or Master Cleanse.  Basically just drinking water with lemon juice, pure maple syrup and cayenne pepper. You can google it for the recipe. I only did it for 3 days, but lost 7 lbs.  It wasn't fun, and not a long term fix, but it did the trick and kicked by butt back into pre-wedding/healthy eating gear. Apparently some people do it for up to 20 days which I can't even imagine!

    Yeah, I was going to boot camp every day and was feeling super fit, but I wasn't losing weight. My bootcamp instructor told me to cut out dairy and carbs and stick to low-fat proteins. I dropped like 8 lbs in a couple weeks and had to have my dress re-altered the week of the wedding because it was falling off of me!

    I'm a stress eater, too - it sucks! Good luck -- you can do it and you will look amazing no matter what!!!
