Need help with reception venue....

We are getting married in August of this year and we have been planning for months...We are getting married at my parents church but to have the reception there you can only play gospel or "church" music...we are on a super tight budget BUT we have found a caterer that will do what we need we just cant find a place. Does anyone have any suggestions on a place that is not too expensive that allows outside catering? I feel like I have looked everywhere but keep coming up short....If not just a venue maybe a location that offers catering for not too much?

I think I've heard people talk about the Arlington Swim and Raquet Club.....I don't know much about it, but that names sticks out to me.

The Gahanna Sactuary is really nice, affordable and allows you to bring in everything. Not sure if the Clintonville Women's Club allows you to bring in catering but I've heard their prices are really resonable.
North Bank Pavilion allows you to bring in your own food too but they usually book up at least a year in advance.
    Good luck!

I second the Swim and Raquet Club. $500 rental and you can bring your own caterer and alcohol.

How many guests are you expecting? Pick up a copy of Columbus Bride magazine, or check their website. Both have a reception guide that lists venues in detail. Also, look at the Columbus Parks and Recs website, because there are a lot of beautiful indoor shelters you can rent at parks like Goodale Park and Audubon Park.

I don't know what your budget is, but Marian Center at Immaculate Conception rents for ~$800 I think.  You can bring in your own caterer/alcohol.

You could try other shelters at Columbus parks?
