Photographer.

I'm in need of one, and a CHEAP one at that. I'm not having a big wedding, nor am I having a religious ceremony and don't see a need for them to be at the reception. Because of this, I will only need them for a few short hours and don't want to pay a ton for it (most DEFINITELY less than 1000). I know my budget is small, but maybe you could steer me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I'm using Kara Knutson of ME Photography.  She is very reasonable (definitely under your price range).  Contact her and let her know that her 10/1 bride Sarah referred her.  If you search for photogs on the knot, she is one of them and only has one $ :)

If you want a real budget option, I know of a young art student who recently set up her own little side business. She does weddings for only $150 because she doesn't have a ton of experience yet. She is a friend of the family and took some good pictures at my wedding (just as a guest). If you are interested, here is a link to her website. The wedding pics on there are from mine. If you want to see/know more, send me a PM. Like I said, she is just a student, but if you want to save money, $150 is pretty darn cheap!

ETA-- the top 2 left pics in my siggy were hers, some of my favorite from the day

My cousin is using Meg Cooper. I'm not sure of the exact pricing, but they are on a tight budget as well, so she might be in your range.
