Flower/Florist Recommondations

I am looking for recommendations of Florists.  If you are willing to share, I would also be interested to know how much you spend/plan to spend. I really have no idea what is reasonable for flower prices!

We are using Lacy at Intuitive Blooms.  For my bouquet, 5 BMs, 5 GM, 2 FGs and probably 15 other misc people getting bouts we are spending about $600.  For all of our CPs, other decorations, and delivery we will come in just under $1000.

Another florist we liked with similar prices was Molly at Petals and Sprigs and Twigs.

I thought they were both reasonable and both very helpful with suggestions to keep us under our budget.

We are using Jeni from Simply Stated Elegance.  We are getting everything for $500.   She doesn't up charge on any of the flowers so that who are paying the wholesale price that she gets them for.  See also lets you go with to pick out the flowers.  I can't wait to do that :)

    Her website is...

I second Intuitive Blooms. Lacey is amazing at what she does. I paid about $850 for: my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 8 bouts, 6 corsages, and 10 of the most awesome centerpieces ever.

She was also really flexible. I had an idea for a DIY orchid centerpiece, but didn't want it for every table... so she got me an awesome deal on dendro orchids and just handed them over to me to use for 1/3 of our tables.

Oh, and an important thing to note... I have kind of expensive taste in flowers... so I'm sure it would have been even more affordable if I went with more standard fare.

    Ditto Kayla and Maybe!! Lacey=fabulous!

Like Maybe, I also have expensive taste (orchids, ranunculus, calla lillies).  Were getting my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, an alter/memorial arrangement, and 13 bouts for $600.  I've got nothing but great things to say about her!

Wow, guess I'm not the only Lacey fan! Another vote for Intuitive Blooms :) We're doing all red roses, rose bouqets & centerpieces and she's getting it all for us for around $1100 which is amazzziing!!

I wanted to post some picture's of what Lacey did for my wedding with my earlier post... but was at work and didn't have access.

    Here's a few pics:

    A close-up of my bouquet.

We used two varieties of hydrangea (light green and 'antique' which is a dark green with purple edges)... estellle roses... orange lilies... and orange gerbera daisies. Plus the dendrobium orchids for the DIY centerpieces. Really, the only affordable flower in that whole bunch is the gerbs.

I second Jeni from Simply Stated Elegance -- I am STILL hearing raves about the flowers...they were drop dead gorgeous and UBER cheap! Here's a pic of my bouquet:

There are quite a few ladies who get really good recommendations on here.  I'm blanking on most of them, but I'm sure other ladies will chime in for you :)

We used Molly from Petals & Sprigs & Twigs.  She was about 1/2 the cost we got from others.  We paid about $600 for 10 bouts, 10 corsages, 3 bm bouquets, 20 CPs with vase rental (all gerbera daises), and delivery/set-up.  That also included my bouquet of about 20 calla lilies. Oh, and our altar arrangement. She was a total sweetheart and really flexible with our constantly changing numbers ;)

    Photo proof!

^ one of my favorite pictures from the day. :)  That's the H and the GMs. You can see the bouts and bouquets, too.

We're using Deven Nelson.  So far she has been amazing.  She totally understand our vision for our wedding and was able to work well within our budget.

For my bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 3 Boutonnieres, and 6 corsages, it'll be $450.  We're also paying $100 on top of that for rental of vases and set up of my DIY centerpieces.  Previously we were going to do bouts for groomsmen, but changed it to pocket squares.  Her bouts were $8/piece.

We are using Donato's floral (Maple Grove) and spending about $1100 on a TON of flowers for the WP, church, centerpieces and other tables, and the cake.  I too, chose some not-so-typical flowers and feathers, which upped the price.

We're using Luna Vinca.  Jennifer is super nice.  It's about $400 for a bouquet, toss, bridesmaid, 2 junior bridesmaids, some coursages and boutainneres.

I think I'm going to use Payne's Florals in St. Paul.  It is run by a woman named Missy, and they only do wedding flowers.  Missy really seems to love what she does, and she is more than willing to work with whatever budget you have.  I have my bouquet, 6 bridesmaids, bouts for the groom, six groomsmen, two ushers, and bouts/corsages for about six other people, two "big" arrangments for the alter, and flowers for 30 tables (we're going pretty minimalist, though -- not big arrangements.)  She quoted me about $850, not including delivery, which I can't imagine would be too much.  For centerpiece vases I am borrowing 1/3 from a friend and the rest will come from either the dollar store or Ikea.
